When shopping for a chimney sweep, be sure to consider the old saying, "You get what you pay for." There are companies in the local area that operate under numerous names and then show up in trucks marked with another name.  If a company has to operate under different names what does that say about that company? Are they honest?  Are they certified?  Are they hiding something?  Do they send out employees or subcontractors? Do they have the proper workers comp insurance or will you be stuck in a lawsuit if they fall off the roof or get hurt on your property?  And finally have you check them out with the Better Business Buerau?  This one simple step could save you a lot of heartache and hard earned money.

   These companies do not take the time needed to do the job properly, as they must move to the next house quickly as their employees are paid mostly if not all on commission instead of a honest paying salary.  They also try to sell you repairs or items you do not need. These companies may be done in as quick as 15 minutes, not enough time to get the job done properly.  And if they don't get on the roof send them packing!!!  There are only a couple of reasons to not get on the roof at the time of inspection and cleaning.  Call us and we will tell you what they are and how this should be properly handled.
